Ultimate Summer Showdown

The Ultimate Summer Showdown is open to all NASCAR Heat 5 players on the PlayStation4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X. The Ultimate Summer Showdown will feature a total of four events, with open qualifiers ahead of each event.

The Ultimate Summer Showdown will see competitors take on some of the most challenging tracks on NASCAR Heat 5. The first event will take place at the iconic 1.366-mile “Lady in Black” Darlington Raceway on May 20, followed by the 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway on June 10, the 2.5-mile ‘Tricky Triangle’ of Pocono Raceway on July 1, and finally the 1.5-mile high-speed Atlanta Motor Speedway on July 22.

Competitors will attempt to be the top 24 drivers in the open qualifiers in order to be invited to the first three main events. The top three finishers per platform from each event will advance to the Ultimate Summer Showdown finale. One competitor per platform will be invited to the Ultimate Summer Showdown finale by being chosen by the race broadcast team, while five competitors per platform will advance to the finale via the final open qualifier.
